What the extractor does

My Scenes
Finds every standard screenplay scene in which the chosen character's name appears and preserves the complete scene, its original screenplay position and the source PDF page where available.
My Lines
Finds the chosen character's cue blocks inside those scenes and groups the dialogue beneath each scene heading. Parentheticals stay with the line.
The parser is deterministic and does not rewrite, summarise or improve the script.
Know the limits

Image-only PDFs are rejected because this version does not use OCR.
Non-standard headings and unusual multi-column layouts may not split correctly.
A character mentioned in action can cause My Scenes to include that scene.
Dual dialogue, uppercase dialogue and customised screenplay formats may need manual checking.
